Entry: "Just wondering...."

I wonder why it seems that the folks who are driving the craziest out there are the ones with the most expensive cars? On that note....let us talk about road rage for a hot moment may I? Why is it that everytime you are driving and late going somewhere the person next to you in the next lane or in front of you is just coasting like it's a Sunday stroll??? And then when you try to pass them, they speed up as if they took it personal?? I don't consider myself to have road rage, although my wife and daughter beg to differ..LMAO. I like to say that I have T.A.D...."traffic anxiety disorder:. a mild case at that! I am quite polite and courteous as long as the other driver signals his intentions or makes an effort to be considerate also, but have little patience for the road hogs who barrel up out of nowhere and try to force their way around the is then and only then (LOL) that I lose it....But I have discovered that at times even I am guilty of doing the very same things that make me "kirk out" when other drivers put me on the other side of the equation...Something to think about, given the fact that more and more drivers are sharing less and less available road space...Hmmm, what about you? Do you or someone close to you have road rage?

8 brothers and sisters helped me to understand.

Artist greg..
what an honour!
I gotta confess, I get road rage big time, especially when people refuse to indicate.. I have been know to curse like a sailor. I knew I had to check myself when I almost got out of my car to say a few words. Now I try to sigh, smile and shake my head. at the obviously inferior driving skills of the masses :D

I like the way you've set up your blog Greg. Very nice! I get road rage quite easily and I have many a horror story, but I have to hurry out now to a sale at my daughters job. I get her employee discount so i'm off to find some deals!
Try to stay calm and not let the other crazy drivers upset you.

Lawd', can we talk about this driving thang' lol! I'm a mild person & VERY patient, but I turn into a demon out there sometimes! When I really get PO'd I envision my car as a industrial-tractor picking up the "idiot's" car & slamming into the ground about 5 times, lol. Of course no one gets hurt & they just get out & look at me like I'm crazy. Anyway, I really know what you mean about the speeding up thing. I think it's a reflex action & it REALLY ANNOYS me. Oh, BTW, my driving record is flawless...been driving for 26 yrs & no tickets (so far, knock on wood, lol) Have a good week Greggy & "safe drivning".

Road rage is a serious phenomenon that can affect anyone of us at any time. I spend a lot of time driving and I see it far too often. I try to avoid aggressive drivers as much as I can but there are so many of them on the road that they sometimes creep up on you without warning.

LOL @ your blog, my oldest brother has road rage. but it's fun being in the car with him. and also my cousin's husband's got it too, even when his two young daughters are in the car with him, but i don't mind road rage as long as it's safe and as long as the driver knows what he's doing!
