One question my peoples...
Why do folk who know they are infested with germs, bacteria, viruses, microbes or the whatnot...why do they insist on coming to work knowing they are going to infest the entire office with their poison particles they be spewing out with every breath, sniffle, hack and cough?? Needless to say, your boy has fallen victim to a co-workers attempt to poison the entire Northern Hemisphere and now whatever this thing is thats frinking with me has me whipped. And on that note, I guess I'll take a chill pill and call it a night. Time for me to go lay low for a few days or sum' and try to get my healing vibes on....now where did I put them Alka-Seltzer Plus Gels at? *sniffle*
14 brothers and sisters helped me to understand.

I swear to goodness why do people do that? I just got over catching a cold from my secretary. Hope youre feeling better soon.Want me to make some of my chicken noodle soup for you? It heals all things! lol. Have a good weekend and make sure you feel better before you go tearing up the world, I know how you are.
I'm beginning to think a lot of folk come to work when they ill looking for sympathy or something, like they showing off their wounds...lol! I'm feeling delightfully refreshed this weekend, thus there is no need for the chicken noodle soup, Cheryl hooked me up with my ill-time fav (Tomato soup with Ritz crackers). Too late for the warning about tearing up the world, I've already started :o) G

oh gosh greggy. i'm all about hygene. i sometimes overreact like when someone will touch me when they touched some other.. thing before LOLz, but yeh, hygene is hella important..
Hey Shanti, aint nothing wrong with being a bit defensive about folk touching you. I don't like folk to put thier hands on me either, 'specially if I don't know where their hands been, knamean? Heck, some folk be all nasty and such or just got done hacking and coughing a lung up and then go to shake hands or sum'. I don't think so! Protect yourself by any means necessary! Have a good weekend too Shanti...G

Remember to cough into your shoulder so you aren't spreading it to your family from your hands. Smear yourself with Vicks vapour rub, it has menthol and will help you breath easier. Give the cheese and other dairy a miss till you feel recovery coming. Up your intake of juice and get some chicken soup in yourself! Stay warm and cozy till this yucky blip on your life screen has passed.
But Meadow...if I cough into my shoulder, then my shoulder will get sick won't it?...*giggling*
Just kidding, good advice, although I seldom remember to do that. Ahhh, Vicks vapor rub, thats some powerful stuff there, don't they use that to clean jet engines too? LMAO. Four thumbs up to the chicken soup, jucie and staying warm and cozy, now thats an idea I can work. Especially the warm and cozy, a brother has that down pat*wink*.....N-joy yourself...G

Damn dawg. Sorry to hear that you're under the weather through no fault of your own. That's got to be the worst. I used to work in an open environment and let me tell you, sicknesses were aplenty. Nowadays, I'm fortunate enough to be in my own office. Until some hidden parasite crawls into my air vent and into a brotha, I'm safe for now. Hope you get better soon man and shake that dirt off of your shoulders. Take it EZ...
Yeah Frank, thats the downside to working in an office environment...you pick up everyone elses particles much easier. Actually I have my own office too, it's just that I have close contact with so many folk it's inevitable I'll pick up what's out there. All in all, today I'm feeling good-to-go, but will allow this thing time to run it's course...I have a healthy respect for germs. They can lay you low if you keep messing around with 'em!...*wolf howling in background* I'm out! have a good week bro...G

Awwww Greggy I hope you feel better sweetie. I've been sick over the weekend and I'm still not 100% I swear if someone so much as cough or sniffle in front of me I'm going to deck'em. Get well soon Little one. Time to drag my under the weather azz to work *UGH*
Thanx dear, actually today (Wednesday morning) I'm feeling pretty chipper, full of energy, but I know once I get to the salt mines my persona will change-over... I can tell it's letting go though, since I've only sniffled twice since getting up this morning! LOL. You stay healthy yourself, cool?...G
