Entry: "Tidal Wave"

Oh my goodness please pray for all the many hundreds of thousands of victims of that massive earthquake and resulting tsunami waves that have devastated Asia. I don't think folk realize as yet just how devastating this event was. This was surely an event of near biblical proportions. As we move past Christmas and still linger in the happiness of the holiday season, take a moment to pray for those who have suffered and be thankful even more for what we enjoy in our lives.

" Let us walk softly, friend
For strange paths lie before us all untrod,
The New Year, spotless from the hand of God,
Is thine and mine, O friend.

Let us walk straightly, friend
Forget the crooked paths behind us now, Press on with steadier purpose on our brow,
To better deeds, O friend.

Let us walk kindly, friend;
We cannot tell how long this life shall last,
How soon these precious years be overpast;

Let Love walk with us, friend!

Happy New Year 2005!

A lovely New Years poem Cheryl, thank you! Indeed let us all walk with kindeness, brotherly fellowship, and compassion for our fellow man. Happy 2005 to you also Cheryl!...G

Hi Carla. A terrible catastrophe no doubt. I hope your part of the world is normal, yes? Have a great weekend and New Years if I don't vibe with ya before then...G

Amen to what Donna said. I am a student of the Bible and these catastrophies are part of Bible prophecy, vital signs of the end times we're living in. It is both good news to Believers, and horrific to watch as the Scriptures unfold before our eyes. We must pray that these events will cause others to begin to study the Word in Spirit and in Truth to be prepared to stand in that day.

Amen my friend. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I love reading biblical prophecy, especially as it relates to current political events and history making events that are happening before our very eyes. Have a great week...G

luv to you my brother. If you read your Bible this is to be expected. We are living in the last days. The Bible stated this would happen. Although this has to happen we must still pray for God's mercy! smileluv to you my brother smile

Hi Donna...Indeed this is true. I've had several "discussions" with some who refuse to believe that such an occurence could have any Biblical connections or simply believe it was just a series of unfortunate events...I myself believe this is just the beginning of a pattern of unimaginably mind-boggling weather related events that the world is going to go through in the coming years...luv you back sister...G
