Entry: "Life comes at you fast...."
Lord knows I tried...I've wanted to post a new blog posting here since early-September but everytime I found time to post something or even found something to post about I got distracted and thrown off course by some silliness happening in my life or somewhere else in the world. Something, somehwere, somehow it was always something....Bush, global warming, Iraq, the local elections here in Baltimore, gasoline prices bobbing and weaving all over the scale, workplace issues, Bush, the spinach scare (which I got sick from a few weeks ago but thankfully not in a major way), vacation, death in the family, the Iran nuclear situation, me just being straight up lazy, the space shuttle, wanting to go sleep-sleep everytime I logged on in the evening after work, Bush, the beginning of football season in all it's LCD High-Definition flat panel glory, the start of the new season of "The Wire" on HBO, Bush, promising friendships blossoming all over the spectrum, attending my 6 yr old grandsons football games, playing with the new grand-daughter (4 months old now), Bush, me carefully tip-toeing my way through unfamiliar territory dealing with inter-personal relationships, wanting to visit so many people across the country but having so little time, the major disaster that we call democracy in Iraq, Bush.....indeed so many things, so little time. Suffice to say that I at least still have a sound mind and body, and can still entertain an occasional rational thought so perhaps shortly or at least in the very near future I will at least attempt to change my background visuals. Plus I will try to articulate or say something a little bit more..."meaningful" the next time. I promise.
12 brothers and sisters helped me to understand.

What's up brotha Greggy??? Long time no hear from man. I apologize for not stopping in when I get home. The firewall at work blocks your site off for whatever reason. I hate that. You're one of my favorites that I like visiting. How're things man? I see that you placed Bush in your soliloquoy at least 3 times. Funny, where there are trials and tribulations, there is good ol' Bush huh? -lol- anyway man, I miss vybing with you bro'. Take it ez okay? One love to you and yours.

I'm loving the new layout. Is it me or do you have "Bush" on your mind? In life it's always something but as long as it's good things like family keeping you busy then it's all good. Sorry you got sick with the spinach thing...
*waving even harder*
Heya! Hiya! Thanks for the vote of confidence on the layout, wasn' nutting but a little sum, knamean? LOL! Bush can't help it now...he's going to get hooked up, linked together and/or blamed for everything that shall ever go bad in this country from now until he leaves office and then long after too...*throwing hug your way...catch it!*

You're so sweet. I love your art as well, it's very serene. I like "Mother Nature" because it requires someone to really look in order to see the female figure. I'm sorry I'm saying this here but your shoutbox won't let me post. I can however point you in the direction of an even better one. Check for Cbox in my link gallery. I used to use a shoutbox like yours but it had too many hangups. Talk to ya soon.
In just the short time that I've experienced the creativity surrounding you, your vibe has already become one of my necessary stops as I set out to make sense of the world each day. I took your advice about the Cbox thingy and e'erthing just fine now! Thanks for the love about my art and surely you already know how I feel about yours, yes? :-) Seeya at the well.

Good that you are getting to crawl around with the grandkids and enjoy that up from the carpet view of life Have fun! I've been checking out Bill Maher's internet show, Thursdays, he is a very edgy, Bush questioning fellow, here is the link, http://www.amazon.com/gp/entertainment/fishbowl There are archive files you can prowl through if you aren't actually able to catch it live. I've been reading some Aesop fables, always good for a smile and a wee ponder. My favourite is the Lion and the mouse Good to hear that life is keeping you busy and engaged
Catch today and be happy,
*waving hard* Hi Meadow! I've caught Bill Maher a few times on his show on HBO so I have an idea as to where his vibe is...As far as reading, I can only wish for more time perhaps to be able to get lost in a book again, but for me now, it's time to do art. Inside my creative well I can feel myself building up to something I can only imagine. Life is good, yes indeed, always good.*throwing smile your way*

Sounds like you were being pretty "meaningful" to me. ;-) Sometimes it's what we don't say that means just as much, if not more, than what we do. Here's to hoping life continues to treat you well, my friend.
Ahhhhh...One of the sparkling wells of creativity from which I draw upon on the daily...yes you have this wonderful gift of being able use your writing to express the very things I think about and mentally visualize when I am in the "zone" preparing to catch an art vibe...can we spell h-e-r-o?

I feel you being overwhelmed with all the goings on in this crazy world, especially Bush. Mid-term campaigning is really heating up all over the country. The Foley scandal, Lord D.C. is a MESS.
Stay up Bruh!!
*waving hard* Hiya Jen! Yes this world is just ready to spin right out of orbit or 'sum'! Elections always bring out the worst behaviour in folks....Thanks for the vibe J!

Would LOVE your take on the elections in Maryland. I still read the WashPost e'ryday and from time to time The Sun. When you get around to it, of course. Clearly you have lots on your mind
Well Morena, clearly the elections in Maryland amount to more of the same ole same ole. Both of the candidates I was rooting for, Kweisi Mfume and Stuart Simms, failed to collect enough votes to win their respective races in the primaries. Overall I don't know/trust Michael Steele enough to give him my vote, and Ben Cardin has never given me reason to pause. Since I am neither Republican nor Democrat it is easy for me to view the positions of both parties through a non-aligned prism and not be subjected to the usual party line hook line and sinker. I despise those who vote the party line regardless of whether or not that position will be beneficial or is morally correct. And I know many here who vote just for the sake of voting, not on the qualifications of either candidate, but merely because some simple negative television ad said so and so did this or so and so didn't do that...bottom line is folks should vote their conscience and not be so easily fooled by heresay, do the research on the candidates and then make an intelligent decision based on the facts, not rumours. Yes as you can see, I do have lots on my mind, perhaps a little too much on my mind...

lol..you said Bush so many times that i simply stopped counting! maybe the world is just full of heavy energy right now. I can't seem to write an articulate blog either. the thought must cross my mind at least 5 times a day...yet...nada.
lol...I think that's because everytime I open a newspaper or turn on the T.V. either Bush just did something uncomprehendable, is about to do something totally unfathomable, or is thinking of doing something just plain outright devastatingly unconscionable. And yes, no doubt we are all surrounded by negative heavy energy at the moment...my advice to you sweetie is to do like I do when in such a funk...do art! I'll blog when my thoughts are coherent enough to articulate something worthy enough to read, 'til then it's time to catch an art vibe! By the way dear...I absolutely positively love your site!

This is a dead of the night Batman blogger fly by
At first I was a little worried for you but as soon as you started talking about a big screen HDTV and your family I knew the forces of good and evil were balanced.
LOL! Yeah, whenever the forces of evil seem like they are beating a brother down, watching my beloved Steelers or Ravens in action on the big screen or finding a few quality moments to play with the grandkids usually makes life seem fun again!
